Friday Round Up – This Weeks Useful Resources

by luke on October 29, 2010

Here are some of the resources I’ve looked at this week. Hope you find them useful.

1. Cranking Out Content by @Chris Brogan

Good article on keeping the ideas flowing for blog writing. Should inspire you to get writing.

2. Social Media Examiner’s interview with @Brian Solis

A short but sweet interview with Brian Solis. A few interesting points on how social media does provide opportunites to convert to sales and how social media is now opening its doors to local businesses.

3. 4 Experts On How To Turn Social Media Into Sales

A useful insight to how 4 different social media experts from different companies are implementing strategies to convert social media into sales.

4. Blog Post On Buying Unmeasurable Media by Seth Godin

There’s a key point taken from this blog post in that social media specialists shouldn’t waste their time trying to sell their services to someone how wants to measure everything. Social media is about more than measurable results, anybody who can’t see that will most likely never be happy with the work done by a social media specialist.

5. 9 Super Annoying Twitter Personality Types

Have a look & see if you’ve ever encountered any of these types of Twitter accounts, I know have. In fact, I’d say I took a look at myself in the mirror and said I’m guilty of a few of those.

If anybody else has anything else useful that they’ve read this week then please feel free to add them to the comments. Have a great weekend all!
